Quinceañeras

The look is chosen weeks before, tried with the crown and pinned in place, then set on the morning in the order we plan together. It suits a girl who wants curls, an updo or a braided crown, and the family who wants the morning to run in order.

The morning

What happens on the morning

  1. 01

    Step 1: Arrive

The quinceañera arrives first, at the time on the plan, with clean, dry hair and the crown and pins she tried.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Hair

The look from the trial is set in the same steps and the same order, so nothing is new on the day.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Crown and veil

The crown, veil or flowers are placed last and pinned so they sit through photos.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The court

The damas follow, two chairs at a time, then mamá and the madrina, and the men's cuts alongside.

Price

What sets the price

We give it to you in writing before you book.

  • The look

Length, density and how much work the style takes.

  • The chairs

How many people are on the morning plan, and how many stylists that takes.

  • The place

Whether we work at the salon or travel to your home or the venue.

Your stylist

Who does the quinceañera's hair

  • Maricarmen Benavidez, owner and lead stylist, smiling in an armchair in a burnt orange cardigan

Maricarmen opened Encanto to ask about the whole morning, not only the crown. She leads every trial and plans the court's chairs on one sheet. She works in Spanish and English.

Questions

How early should we book the date?

As soon as you have the date. Saturdays fill first, and a deposit holds yours. The trial is booked a few weeks before the event.

Can you come to our home or the venue?

Yes, in New Braunfels and nearby towns. We set up a station, and the travel is part of the written plan.

What should we bring to the trial?

Photos of the dress, the crown or tiara, the veil and any flowers or ribbon, and pictures of looks you like.
